The Park | ||
The park is uniquely situated in the delightful upper Teign Valley, bordered by the River Teign and surrounded by accessible woodland, which adjoins National Trust forestry. The lodges and chalets may be occupied for holiday and recreational purposes only between mid-March and the following mid-January, making them an ideal bolt hole or retreat from the stresses and strains of modern day living. |
||
Within yards of your holiday home are stunning riverside walks; downstream to Dunsford Nature Reserve and Steps Bridge (an area renowned for its carpets of wild daffodils) or upstream, through the magnificent Fingle Gorge, to Fingle Bridge and the National Trust's Castle Drogo. |
||
In summertime there is shared use of the outdoor heated
swimming pool, whilst during the other seasons fallow deer often graze
nearby; a salmon and sea trout river, with signs of otter, is within
yards.
